Dear Parents,

The famous Irish poet W.B. Yeats said “Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire” and our aim at ENNS is to spark this fire in each child so that their light can illuminate the world.

In addition to academics, there are many other aspects of development that we focus on such as good manners, tolerance, confidence, communication skills and civic sense so that your child becomes a worthy citizen of not just India but of the world.

In order to ensure that what the values we foster and encourage at school are not forgotten when your child comes home during the holidays, we seek your support in enforcing the same at home. Here are a few handy tips:

  • Words such as ‘please’, ‘thank you’, ‘sorry’, and ‘you’re welcome’ are very important and should be used at all times.
  • The world is not a dustbin! Please do not throw litter everywhere you go. If there is no dustbins available put your litter in a plastic bag and dispose it when you find a dustbin.
  • Urinating and spitting on the road is unacceptable. Please ensure your child uses a toilet.
  • Traffic rules must be followed at all times for everyone’s safety. Please set a good example whenever you are driving a vehicle or walking on the road.
  • At our school girls and boys are treated equally. Please do the same at home.
  • Chocolates, chips, Kurkure, Maggi noodles and other junk food should only be eaten occasionally as a treat.
  • Arguments and family disputes should never take place in front of a child. Do remember this can have an unknown and enduring effect on your children including their academic performance.
  • Encourage your child to talk to you about the things they do at school and spend quality time with them. Do not make him / her feel that he / she has been sent to Boarding school as a punishment. Praise your child whenever he / she does something good and do not beat them when they are naughty. Be patient and explain the importance of good behaviour.
  • Remind your child to speak in English whenever possible and ask them to read when they are at home. Restrict television viewing to age appropriate English language programmes. Please do not permit your child to watch TV shows and movies that have violence and bad language.

Teach your child to be considerate and kind always. This means no loud music or fire crackers during festivals and no hitting, pinching, biting and pushing friends and siblings.

  • The school does not accept any donation in cash or kind. If anyone asks for a donation please report it to the office immediately.
  • Fees are subject to a yearly increase and have to be paid in advance.
  • If fees are not paid within 45 days of the due date your child will have to be withdrawn.
  • Fees once paid are not refundable.
  • Please do not give your children any money when they come to school as all the children have a Sanchaika Account. A starting balance of Rs. 1500 must be deposited for Primary School children (UKG – Std. IV).
  • For Secondary School children (Std. V – X), a starting balance of Rs. 2000 must be deposited.
  • All the girls in the Primary & Secondary School have compulsory Indian Dance lessons for an hour every Saturday. Dance fees must be
  • paid in full at the beginning of the academic year.
  • A Leave Card will be issued at the beginning of the year. This card will give you a list of holidays for the year. You must carry this card whenever you come to fetch your child. If you do not bring the card you will be liable to pay a fine of Rs. 200 for a temporary Leave Card.
  • If you appoint a friend or a relative to pick your child up, he or she must bring the Leave Card. If they d not bring the Leave Card, only on proper identification and a fine of Rs. 200 will a temporary Leave Card be issued.
  • If you lose the Leave Card a new one will be issued on the payment of a fine of Rs. 250.
